“ A short wait for a great meal! With large portion sizes, we tried the Ika Gesso, Chicken Tatsuta-age, Sukiyaki Udon, and Spicy Dan Dan Udon. All were fantastic and came out fresh and relatively fast. I love the window into the kitchen and the place just has great home yet upper scale vibes. Would definitely come back to try more! ”
“ Had the sukiyaki udon here and it was great. The portion size was huge and there was a nice mix of beef, mushrooms, and tofu. The broth was flavorful and the perfect thing to drink on a cold windy day. Prices are on the high side but I think the portions and quality more than make it worth it. Service is fast and to the point and the inside of the restaurant is very clean and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back! ”
“ Delicious udon, rich broth, large sized noodle portions, prompt service. We got here at lunch and it filled up within 15 minutes of opening. We got the cold mentaiko and uni cream udon. Both broths were rich and flavorful. The udon noodles had a perfect consistency. Also got the purple sweet potato tempura which we really enjoyed. Definitely planning to come back! ”
“ Casual spot. Horrible place to find parking. Tornado shrimp appetizer was good. Uni cream udon was rich and very creamy. After awhile, it became too creamy for me to finish. My husband finished his and mine though! He loved it! ”
“ I came after the lunch rush and was seated right away. Parking outside is rough with mostly permit only. The place is medium size and good for smaller groups but could maybe do 1-2 larger groups. The restaurant was still quite packed with most tables taken. Service very fast with my food out in 5-10min. 10/10 Sukiyaki Udon $23 - quite pricey off the bat but serving size is LARGE. This could serve 2 but I eat a lot so it was enough for me. Udon was well made, chewy, and soaked up the broth well. Broth was also AMAZING. It was savory, slightly sweet, and had a lot of flavor. Comes with a perfect poached egg, soft tofu, thin sliced beef that also was tender and soaked up the soup. Worth the price for the once in a while cravings. 7/10 Chicken Tatsuta-age - $9.5 - Chicken was cooked through but still juicy. There's no seasoning on it so the sauce makes up most of the flavor which was still good. Chicken texture and shape was more like thin strips with a light batter crust. It was overall just ok for me. ”
